So yeah… it’s been a minute.
Okay fine, it’s been a few years. But who’s counting? (Apparently WordPress is. Thanks for the guilt trip, dashboard.)
If you’ve been here before—either on purpose or because Google decided to play roulette with your search results—you might’ve noticed things have been a little… quiet. Not because I didn’t want to write. Trust me, I’ve had plenty to say. I’ve just been up to my eyeballs running a business, helping clients with their content, wrangling websites, dealing with Google’s latest algorithm tantrum, and occasionally pretending I still know how to relax.
Somewhere in there, the ol’ personal blog took a back seat. Okay, more like I shoved it in the trunk and forgot it existed. But that changes now.
I Missed Running My Mouth
You know what happens when you don’t write down your thoughts for a while?
They stack up.
Like overdue library books, half-finished motorcycle projects (BTW, I sold Emmie – finally got sick of the MANDATORY randomly-occurring projects “OMFG – what is THAT new bad sound???” – and I now have shiny 2016 FLHTKL Molly), or political opinions at Thanksgiving dinner.
And buddy, I’ve got a stack.
So we’re firing this bad boy back up—motorcycle metaphors, beagle stories, rants, raves, a little BHRT wisdom, and yes, even some actual useful business stuff for those of you who like to get nerdy (or HUMAN) about SEO, web strategy, or how not to completely wreck your Google Business profile.
It’s gonna be messy. It’s gonna be opinionated. And it’s gonna be me—the way this blog was always meant to be.
Expect… Well, Everything
One day I might talk about why your website isn’t converting worth a damn.
The next day? I’m probably ranting about people who don’t understand how to merge on I-40.
Then I might toss in a post about testosterone levels and why I now own more leather than I ever expected to.
This blog has always been a weird mix—and I plan to keep it that way.
So if you’re here for business tips, great.
If you’re here for the ride stories and beagle updates, even better.
And if you’re just here for the occasional completely unfiltered hot take, grab a drink and pull up a chair.
We’re Back, Baby
Thanks to anyone who’s still following along after all this time. Seriously.
I’m going to do my best to post more often. Might not be every day. Might not even be every week. But it won’t be another four years, I’ll tell you that much.
Time to get back to writing for me again.
And if it entertains, informs, or annoys you just enough to keep reading? Well then… mission accomplished.
